I am a new agent and want to be successful at selling investment/commercial real estate. Should I take your courses?

Our classes will give you a firm foundation to build a successful career. We especially recommend Selling Income Property Successfully (SIPS), which explains and demonstrates the basics of investment/commercial real estate ownership, listing, selling and financing.

I have been a successful residential agent for a number of years. Can I benefit from taking your classes?

To be a successful residential agent, you need to know the basics of selling a home. The same philosophy is true for investment/commercial real estate sales. However, the basic principals are different, requiring specialized knowledge you might not yet possess.

I have already sold a few investment/commercial real estate properties. Do I still need to take your classes?

Most agents who come to our classes after having closed a few transactions do so because they not only want to sell more properties but also better understand the investment/commercial real estate process, benefits and pitfalls.

What is the difference between your classes and the CCIM classes?

The most obvious difference is that the CCIPS Institute offers courses at substantially less cost and time consumption. Basically we focus more on the practical aspects of closing transactions and less on the theoretical. Our goal is to help you be successful with the least amount of cost and time. We cover all the basics necessary to successfully close transactions, including contracts, role playing, tax aspects, creative thinking, how to work with group ownership, how to work with buyers, sellers and lenders and more. We even cover how you should structure your company to maximize income to you and your family.

What is the difference between your classes and the GRI classes or GRI Masters classes?

The GRI classes focus mainly on residential home sales, not on the investment/commercial real estate. While the GRI Masters courses cover aspects of investment/commercial real estate, they do not go into the depth of information covered by CCIPS, nor do they provide the practical information needed to succeed in this arena.

Why should I take your TA class? My broker and others say I should not be giving tax advice to my clients.

That is true, however, this class is not designed to make you an accountant, only to show you how taxes affect investment/commercial real estate transactions and how to improve your clients bottom line. When you know the effect you will be more valuable to your clients.
